Create, configure and connect an iCloud account
What is an iCloud iCloud account?
The iCloud account is the Apple service that securely stores your photos, files, notes, passwords and all other data in the cloud and automatically stores it on all your devices.
How do I create the account?
- Choose the Apple menu at the top
- Click on System Preferences
- If you use macOS Catalina, click Apple ID then iCloud
- Check the Email box.
- Choose your iCloud email address
- Press OK.
- Click 'Create' when it’s good with the email account you selected
How do I set up the account?
- Open iCloud
Enter the Apple ID and password used to set up your iCloud account - Activate the functions you want
- Press Apply
Manage your files
rename file
Press two fingers on the trackpad => Rename
select multiple files
Press to select the first => cmd => click
Move many files to a new folder
Select them => New folder with selection
How to delete a file on Mac
Click with two fingers on the trackpad => click on Move to Recycle Bin > Go to Recycle Bin => Empty Recycle Bin
How use airdrop?
Open Finder.
- Select AirDrop from the sidebar of a Finder window. Or choose Go => AirDrop from the menu bar.
- At the bottom of your screen, you will see “Allow me to be discovered by” and then in the drop-down menu. Choose Contacts only or Everyone.
- Make sure that Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are both enabled and that you are within 30 metres of another Apple device (Mac, iPhone, iPad) to start transferring files.
- The AirDrop window displays users close to AirDrop. Drag one or more documents, photos or other files to the recipient indicated in the window.

If you are a Mojave, Catalina, Big Sur or Monterey user, you can use + + 5 to display a screenshot menu that will allow you to:

Enter the selected part
Save the entire screen
Save the selected part.

QuickTime Player => File => New Screen Save
Download and upgrade an application
- You should open the App Store
- Find the application you want to install
- Click on get and install
- Open the App Store
- Click on Updates
Connect the printer
- Click the Apple icon in the top left corner of your screen
- Access System Preferences
- Click on Printers and Scanners
- Click the + sign below the list of printers
- Select the printer you want to add
- Finally, click Add.
