FACETIME TO ANDROID

Can we make FaceTime call to android or Laptop running on Windows? If it's possible what I need to do and how do it?

Yes, we can do it.

FaceTime is an app from Apple (iPhone and Mac), but you can use it on android or windows. But before to do it you need:

  • Android or Windows device
  • Good network
  • The latest version of the browser (Chrome or Edge)

To do that

  1. Invite him on your call.
  2. Send him the link via message or mail: To add android users to your FaceTime conversation, click on create link, add name to your conversation (it's not mandatory but it will be easy to recognise it) copy the link ("Copy") and send it. you can send it by message, mail, etc.

The android or windows users don't need to install nothing in their phone or computer. When the android and windows users receives the link, they should

  1. Follow the FaceTime link
  2. They will write her name and tap continue.
  3. Like your equipment don't know that you will allow FaceTime to use your microphone and camera.
  4. Finally he will click to participate.
  5. Wait the host of the conference should launch the Call and allow you to in. Finally, tap on Test (the name of the conversation). Tap on "1 Person Waiting" and add him.
  6. Now you are in. And when you want tap leave to end the call.

The problem when you use the you can't share the screen. That is the only things you can't do when you use the browser with android or windows.
